ISIS BEHEADS ANOTHER AMERICAN JOURNALIST.

American journalist Steven Sotloff (Center with black helmet) talks to Libyan rebels on the Al Dafniya front line, 25 km west of Misrata on June 02, 2011 in Misrata, Libya.

Sunni jihadist group ‘Islamic State’, ISIS has beheaded the captured American journalist Steven Sotloff, the SITE Intelligence Group reports. The militant Islamic State group is said to have released a three-minute video showing ISIS murdering 31-year-old Sotloff and also threatening the life of David Haines, a British citizen. This video comes weeks after the militant Islamic State group released a video clip which showed them beheading another American journalist, James Foley. Sotloff, in the video, was threatened to be murdered next.

Josh Earnest, the White House press secretary who was in the middle of a daily briefing with journalists when the news broke, says ‘the Obama administration would work to confirm the authenticity of the video’.
‘Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr Sotloff and Mr Sotloff's family’, he is quoted as saying.
Sotloff was a freelancer for outlets such as Time magazine and Foreign Policy. He was kidnapped in 2013 while reporting on the bloody civil war in Syria.
He is described by Friends as a ‘selfless’, ‘loyal’ and ‘caring’ person.
